Tired Of Mosquitos?
We live in a rambling old house on the river on a big block that is full of
trees. It's a great location and of course, we love to sit outside, but in
summer the mosquitos can make life unbearable. The best device we have seen
until now was the Raid Outdoor Mozzie Lamp, which we buy from Woolworth's.
This involves a candle that sits in a small lamp that heats up the repellent
strip that sits above it. However, we still used to be attacked.
Then, while making a speech at a Brisbane breakfast, I heard about a new
product that claims to kill all the mosquitos in your yard and so stop the
breeding cycle. I am not going to go into it in detail here, because you
can read all about it for yourself at http://www.mosquitofree.com.au/.
We bought two units and have been trialling it for a month, and have noticed
a significant reduction in mosquito problems. Certainly, we need the Raid
Mozzie Lamp too, but for the first time in six years, we can now sit outside
comfortably of an evening.
The units cost about $100 each, plus about $10 a month for the stuff that
goes in the tray so it's not a huge outlay. The distributors tell me that
one unit is enough for most houses.

Helensvale - Queensland, Australia
"I would like to congratulate you on designing and producing an appliance, that is both pleasing on the eye and most efficient in carrying out the task that it was designed for.
It is a simple appliance to service, does not smell and is environmentally friendly.
Our suburb of Helensvale is well known for being inundated with mosquitoes and 'midges' (sandflies) due to its proximity to a lake and mangroves. This creates problems with outdoor recreation and forces you to plan around 'them' by covering yourself in sprays or moving in behind screens. Since installing your 'MosquitoFREE' on my back verandah my family have been able to reclaim the verandah and adjoining backyard as ours and enjoy the outdoors once again. "
